Catholics and Protestants: What Can We Learn from Each Other?
Faithful Catholics and Protestants are brothers and sisters in Christ, but all too often we completely ignore each other. This is not a luxury our world affords, when weekly religious service attendance (all faith groups, not just Christian) is at 12% of the Canadian population. When we don’t ignore each other, we speak different languages. This talk will not tackle theology. Instead we’ll learn from the experience of Catholics and Protestants who have a foot on both sides of the Tiber, meaning they engage often and thoroughly with the thing they are not. This is a time to consider the beauty of Christendom outside our own brand, so to speak. Above all, it’s a talk, speaker Andrea Mrozek hopes, that will bring us closer together.
Theology on Tap Ottawa is an opportunity for Catholics young adults, ages 19-39, to learn more about their faith, have fun, and enjoy fellowship.
Gather at Lago Bar & Grill for a drink and guided discussion from 7-9pm.
